The game "Chernobyl 1986" takes you back to the year 1986, when the infamous Chernobyl No. 4 nuclear reactor incident occurred. In this simulation, your mission is to extinguish the fire that has erupted in the reactor core.
Your task involves strategically dropping sand and boron into the reactor to halt the fire's progression. Utilize the helicopter's bucket to swing and effectively release the payload. Nonetheless, be cautious not to fly directly into the hazardous smoke; consistently check your dosimeter for radiation levels.
Throughout your mission, you will encounter red stars that can heal any radiation damage sustained. Conversely, it is crucial to navigate carefully, as the helicopter is at risk of being exposed to radioactive particles.
With a radiation level of 3.6 roentgen, this game provides an authentic experience without being overly intense—striking a balance between excitement and realism.
